Top-tier global law firm seeking a 2nd–4th year associate to join its Corporate Finance group in the Houston office. The role focuses on leveraged and syndicated lending, private credit and acquisition financings for borrowers, lenders and administrative agents.

Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting credit agreements, commitment letters, security and intercreditor documents, subordination agreements and closing deliverables (certificates, resolutions, opinions, schedules/exhibits). Candidates will work closely with deal teams, manage transactional workflow and interact with clients under partner supervision.

The team values diligence, clear drafting, proactivity and a collaborative approach. Admission to one or more U.S. state bars is required; prior Texas bar admission is a plus.

2–4 years post-qualification experience in corporate finance/lending
Experience with syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings and private credit transactions
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for credit agreements, security documents and closing deliverables
Team-oriented, proactive, able to manage deal responsibility and client interaction; admission to a U.S. state bar (Texas preferred)
