Associate – Corporate & Funds, Brisbane

Senior associate-level role in a national Banking & Financial Services team, based in Brisbane. The role focuses on funds management, financial services compliance and related corporate transactions across a range of asset classes.

You will work on fund establishment and operation, licensing and disclosure, due diligence, fund commercial agreements and M&A matters, and contribute to team precedent development, business development and CPD activities.

• 2–4 years post‑admission experience, preferably in funds management and/or financial services law (private practice experience preferred)
• Experience or interest in corporate and banking transactions, and in Australian financial services licensing and disclosure regimes
• Excellent drafting, technical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, client-service focus, and ability to supervise junior lawyers
