Associate — Corporate (M&A) — Beijing

Seeking a corporate associate to join a busy Beijing team advising on cross-border and domestic M&A, joint ventures, foreign direct investment and general commercial transactions. The role offers regular exposure to multi-jurisdictional work carried out with colleagues across an international office network.

PRC law–qualified candidates will also gain experience advising on PRC insurance regulatory matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating agreements, conducting due diligence, advising on corporate governance and structure, and liaising with external counsel and clients.

• Minimum 2 years PQE with solid corporate and commercial transactional experience
• PRC law qualification required; experience with insurance regulatory matters advantageous
• Strong drafting, negotiation and due-diligence skills
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese
