Associate — Corporate (M&A), London

Experienced corporate associate sought to join a busy London corporate team with a focus on public and private M&A. The role involves working across the deal lifecycle on share and asset sales, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and general corporate advisory matters, including cross-border transactions.

The successful candidate will run due diligence and disclosure exercises, draft and negotiate key transaction documents, advise on deal structures, and work collaboratively with colleagues across international offices to provide UK support on global matters.

This is a client-facing role requiring commercial judgement, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams to tight deadlines while contributing to business development activity.

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales, or qualified overseas with London market experience
• Proven experience in a generalist corporate M&A role handling share and asset sales, JV work and shareholder arrangements
• Experience across the deal lifecycle: NDAs/term sheets, due diligence, disclosure, drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Strong oral and written communication, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Commercial, pragmatic mindset with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; strong prioritisation and time-management skills
• Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
