Associate — Corporate (M&A & Private Equity), New York

Leading global corporate team seeking an associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity group in New York. The practice advises on a full range of transactional matters, including buy- and sell-side M&A, private equity investments, portfolio company work and related corporate advisory matters.

The role offers substantive deal exposure on domestic and cross-border transactions, working with multi-disciplinary teams across finance, tax, regulatory and litigation specialists. The team handles matters across industries and provides opportunities for client-facing responsibility and professional development within a high-volume, market-leading platform.

This opening is targeting associates in the 3rd–6th year range (minimum of 2 years’ relevant M&A and/or private equity experience). Candidates should be ready to contribute to deal execution, drafting and due diligence from day one.

• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification transactional experience in M&A and/or private equity.
• Demonstrated experience with deal execution: drafting transactional documents, coordinating due diligence, and supporting closings.
• Strong academic background and excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively on fast-paced, complex transactions; prior cross-border experience a plus.
• Admission to a relevant US bar preferred.
