Practice group in Manchester is hiring a commercially focused Corporate Tax Associate to work on cross‑border, complex and high‑value transactions across sectors including real estate, private equity, joint ventures and M&A.

The role offers exposure to a broad corporate tax workload, responsibility for drafting and advising on transactional tax matters, support to senior lawyers, and opportunities to supervise trainees and contribute to business development and client relationship work. The team invests in training and legal tech to support development.

Up to 4 years post‑qualification tax experience (UK‑qualified or equivalent experience in a UK tax team)
Experience advising on cross‑border corporate tax matters, M&A, real estate and/or private equity transactions
Strong drafting skills and ability to convert technical tax issues into practical commercial advice
Client‑facing experience, good interpersonal/business development skills and ability to supervise junior staff
