Top-tier national law firm is seeking a corporate associate to join its Corporate Trust team in Chicago. The role supports corporate trust transactions for financial institutions and corporate trust clients across a range of matters, including structured finance, municipal/public finance, corporate debt, agent and custody arrangements, and related post‑closing and default work.

The position requires hands-on transaction work: reviewing, drafting and negotiating trust indentures, agency and custodial agreements, pooling and servicing agreements, loan and account control documentation, and related transactional documents. The team works collaboratively across offices and expects strong client focus, clear written and oral communication, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

The office operates a hybrid schedule with a regular in-office cadence to support teamwork and client service while offering flexibility.

3–5 years of transactional experience (corporate trust, structured finance, securitization, or related finance transactions)
Experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing trust indentures, agency/custodial agreements, PSA/servicing and other related transactional documents
Strong organizational, writing, analysis and negotiation skills; able to manage multiple assignments and work collaboratively
Superior academic record and professional communication skills
