Associate — Cybersecurity & Data Privacy, Washington, D.C.

Top-tier international law firm seeking junior to mid-level associates for its Cybersecurity & Data Privacy and AI practices in Washington, D.C. The role involves working on cross-disciplinary matters advising on AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity issues for a diverse client base.

Successful candidates will support incident preparedness and response, regulatory defense and investigations, development of defensible privacy and security programs under U.S. laws and frameworks, M&A due diligence, and drafting/negotiating privacy and data-processing agreements. • 2–6 years of relevant law firm, government, or technical experience handling data privacy, AI, and/or cybersecurity matters
• Experience with incident response, regulatory investigations, or enforcement matters preferred
• Familiarity with U.S. privacy and security frameworks and laws (e.g., NIST, CCPA, BIPA, HIPAA, state privacy statutes) and with drafting privacy/security policies and agreements
• Strong academic record, excellent writing and analytical skills, and a demonstrated interest in AI, privacy, and cybersecurity
