Seeking a debt finance associate to join a national practice in Boston. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on a range of debt financing matters, with regular responsibility for transaction execution, document drafting and closing support.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with secured lending and acquisition financings, familiarity with Article 9 UCC issues, and comfort preparing commitment letters, security documents and related transaction deliverables. You will work on multiple matters simultaneously within a team-oriented environment.

1–5 years' transactional experience in debt finance or lending work
Juris Doctor (or equivalent) and strong academic credentials
Experience closing transactions, drafting deal documents and preparing issues lists
Knowledge of secured transactions/Article 9, acquisition financing, and general corporate law
Prior training at a large law firm and demonstrated attention to detail
