Associate — Debt Finance, Boston (1–5 years)

Mid-level associate opportunity in a busy debt finance practice in Boston. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on a range of debt financing matters, with regular responsibility for document drafting, issue-spotting and transaction closings.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on secured lending experience, familiarity with acquisition financing and related financing documents, and comfort working on multiple transactions in a large-firm environment.

• JD and admission (or eligibility) to practice in the U.S.
• 1–5 years' relevant transactional experience in debt finance, lending or leveraged finance
• Experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors on secured lending and acquisition financings
• Proven transaction experience — drafting documents, preparing issues lists and participating in closings
• Familiarity with UCC Article 9, commitment letters and related financing documentation preferred
• Strong academic credentials, attention to detail, and experience gained at a large law firm
