Associate — Debt Finance, New York

Mid- to senior-level associate role in a global debt finance practice based in New York. The team advises on a broad range of bank and capital-markets financing transactions, including syndicated loans, leveraged and acquisition finance, refinancing and structured finance, with frequent cross-border work.

You will draft, review and negotiate loan and security documentation, manage deal processes from diligence through closing and post-closing administration, and work alongside finance partners and international teams. The role includes client-facing responsibility, project management, and mentoring junior lawyers.

• Minimum four years' experience in debt finance (syndicated lending, leveraged/acquisition finance, direct lending/private credit or structured finance)
• Strong drafting, negotiation and project-management skills; commercial judgment
• Proven ability to manage transactions and mentor junior team members
• Excellent communication and time-management skills; able to work under pressure on multi-jurisdictional matters
• Bar admission and good standing; fluency in English
