Apply in confidence →Mid-level associate opportunity in a major New York derivatives and financial regulatory practice. The team advises banks, asset managers, corporates and other market participants on structuring, documenting and negotiating a wide range of derivatives, commodities and structured-product transactions.
Work will cover transactional and regulatory matters across futures, swaps, FX, credit derivatives, commodity products and emerging areas such as fintech and crypto trading. You will handle deal documentation, regulatory analysis (including Dodd‑Frank, CFTC and SEC frameworks), and related risk-management, restructuring and enforcement matters, collaborating with cross‑disciplinary teams across jurisdictions.
- 3–6 years post-qualification experience in derivatives, commodities or structured-products transactions.
- Experience with transactional documentation for swaps, futures, FX, credit derivatives and related structured products; familiarity with Dodd‑Frank, CFTC and SEC regulatory regimes.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, commercial judgment, and ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.
- J.D. (or equivalent) and active bar admission or eligibility to work in New York.
