Apply in confidence →An established, insurance‑defence litigation team is hiring an Associate to join its Disease/Legacy Injury practice in Leeds. The role sits within a national practice that handles complex defendant-side personal injury claims and supports cross-border quantum enquiries through its wider network.
The post offers a hybrid working pattern and exposure to a varied caseload including asbestos, noise‑induced hearing loss (NIHL), hand‑arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) and employer's/public liability matters. The team emphasises pragmatic, technology-enabled workflows and collaborative client service.
- Minimum 1+ years' experience handling defendant disease or legacy personal injury litigation gained in a law firm.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload of fast‑track and DCP claims and maintain regular client contact.
- Strong drafting and case-management skills; comfortable working with technical/medical evidence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a specialist team and contribute to process and technology-led improvements.
