Associate — Emerging Companies & Venture Capital, New York

Midlevel associate role in a national Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice based in the New York office. The team represents startups, growth-stage companies, founders and venture funds across formation, financings, M&A and fund formation matters.

You'll work closely with experienced practitioners on sophisticated, deal-driven matters in a collaborative office environment. The group values strong technical drafting, client management and transaction execution skills.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant corporate/venture capital experience (associate-level).
• Admission to the New York bar.
• Strong academic record and references.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, plus solid Excel/math skills.
• Experience at a comparable law firm and comfort managing internal and external relationships on transactional matters.
