Growing Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) team in San Francisco seeks a junior to mid‑level associate to support a busy practice representing startups, founders, and venture investors. The role offers hands‑on work on venture financings, company formation, governance, and strategic transactions across the technology and startup ecosystem.

Associates will draft and negotiate financing and governance documents, work closely with deal teams and management, and collaborate with specialty groups such as technology transactions and privacy. The group emphasizes mentorship, early responsibility, and client relationship development.

2–4 years of law firm experience in emerging companies, venture capital, or corporate transactional work
Experience with venture financings, startup formation, and general corporate matters preferred
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced team environment
J.D. and admission to the California Bar
