Associate — Emerging Growth & Venture Capital (Los Angeles, multi‑office)

Growing corporate group seeks a mid‑level associate to focus on emerging growth companies and the institutional investors that support them. The role is multi‑office with primary presence in Los Angeles and remote/hybrid flexibility across other U.S. offices.

The associate will handle venture financings for both issuers and institutional investors, support M&A transactions, and advise startups on day‑to‑day corporate matters. Work will include legal research and drafting, transaction management, client communication, and collaboration with cross‑office teams.

The team values high‑quality written work, commercial judgment, and active participation in firm citizenship and pro bono initiatives.

• JD from accredited law school and admission to practice in applicable state
• Approximately 4 years’ experience in emerging growth/venture capital practice
• Experience representing both institutional investors and issuers in venture financings; transactional M&A exposure preferred
• Strong legal writing, research, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage transactions and client relationships
