The team advises on executive compensation arrangements, equity plans and agreements, retention packages, retirement and welfare plans, and employee benefit issues arising in corporate transactions.
Typical work includes drafting and reviewing plan documents and transactional agreements, conducting legal research and analysis, participating in client calls and negotiations, and supporting mergers & acquisitions and tax-related matters. The role offers collaborative team support, opportunities for professional development, and hybrid working arrangements.
- JD from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Tax or an Employee Benefits certificate preferred
- Admission to practice in California
- 2+ years of relevant law firm experience (AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred)
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with equity compensation, retirement/welfare plans, and benefits issues in transactions preferred
