Associate — Employment Litigation, Birmingham, MI

High-quality opportunity for an Employment Litigation Associate to join a busy labor & employment team in the Birmingham, MI area. The role offers hands-on litigation work supporting local and national employer clients across all stages of employment disputes.

Typical responsibilities include legal research and drafting of memoranda, motions and pleadings; managing discovery and investigations; preparing position statements and dispositive motions; attending court conferences; and counseling clients on employment-law issues. The team emphasizes collegiality, attorney development, and regular in-person training and practice meetings.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar admission (or eligibility) in Michigan
• Experience in employment or labor litigation — drafting motions, managing discovery, and courtroom exposure preferred
• Strong legal research, writing and advocacy skills
• Comfortable with direct client contact and working with governmental agencies and opposing counsel
