Leading national energy practice is hiring an associate to join its Houston and/or Dallas A&D teams. The role focuses on transactional work in energy acquisitions and divestitures, with emphasis on upstream and midstream matters.

Successful candidates will work on deal execution across asset and company-level transactions, coordinating due diligence, drafting transactional documentation, and advising on commercial and regulatory issues relevant to energy A&D.

3–6 years' transactional experience, ideally in energy A&D (upstream and/or midstream)
Strong drafting and deal execution skills; experience with due diligence and commercial contracts
Juris Doctor (or equivalent) and admission to practice in the United States or plan to obtain admission
Ability to work in the Houston and/or Dallas office locations
