A major international energy & infrastructure practice is seeking an associate to join its US offices to focus on offtake work across renewables and energy storage. The role emphasizes transactional drafting and negotiation of commercial offtake agreements in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Work will center on power purchase agreements (physical and virtual), corporate PPAs, storage offtake arrangements, renewable energy credit and carbon removal offtakes, hedging/ISDA and industry-standard utility agreements. You will collaborate with deal teams across project development, financing and commercial counsel.

3–9 years of relevant transactional experience in energy projects, with specific offtake/PPA experience.
Track record drafting and negotiating PPAs (physical and vPPA), storage offtake agreements, RECs/carbon offtake contracts, ISDAs/EEI-style documents and related commercial agreements.
Admission to the bar of the state where the candidate will be based.
Strong academic credentials, excellent drafting and communication skills, and the ability to work closely with clients and cross-functional teams.
