Join a global energy and infrastructure team in Tokyo advising on cross-border project finance, infrastructure M&A and related transactions. The practice acts for financial institutions, utilities, trading houses, sponsors and governmental institutions on multi-jurisdictional mandates across greenfield and brownfield work.

The role involves drafting and negotiating finance and acquisition documentation, conducting regulatory and transactional due diligence, and providing pragmatic commercial advice. You will work with an international team on market-leading matters and contribute know‑how to grow the practice.

0.5–3.5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE 0.5–3.5)
Admitted in England & Wales or another Common Law jurisdiction
Experience in project finance and familiarity with market precedents
Strong drafting skills and fundamentals of contract/finance law
Fluency in English; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, be proactive and take on varied mandates
