Top-tier international firm seeks a junior associate to join a busy Energy Regulatory team in Washington, DC. The role will concentrate on nuclear regulatory matters, with primary work involving NRC and DOE-related projects and proceedings, and engagement on matters touching FERC, electric and gas regulation, LNG, and related government interactions.

Work is practice-oriented and often sits at the intersection of law, policy and transactions — including licensing, regulatory filings, and agency advocacy. The team handles complex, high-profile and novel matters; the role suits a collaborative, detail-oriented lawyer with prior NRC or DOE nuclear experience.

  • 2–4 years' experience (PQE) in U.S. energy regulatory work, with demonstrable NRC or DOE nuclear experience
  • J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar
  • Experience with regulatory filings, agency proceedings, and clear written and oral advocacy
  • Team-oriented, able to manage complex matters and interact with government stakeholders
