Top-tier law firm seeks a transactional associate to join its Energy, Transportation & Infrastructure practice in Houston. The role focuses on renewable energy and energy-transition matters, including project finance, tax-equity financings and M&A for sponsors, developers, investors and lenders.

Day-to-day work will include structuring and documenting project financings, negotiating material project agreements (for example, PPAs, EPC and O&M contracts), and collaborating with multidisciplinary deal teams on complex transactions. The group values candidates who are comfortable with client-facing work and managing large, document-heavy matters.

J.D. and admission to practice in the relevant local jurisdiction required.
Minimum 3 years of law firm experience in project finance, tax equity or energy project development.
Experience with U.S. renewable energy financings and transactional documentation (PPA, EPC, O&M, financing agreements).
Strong drafting, analytical and interpersonal skills; ability to work on cross-functional deal teams and interact with clients.
