The role focuses on renewable and energy-transition matters, including project finance, tax equity and M&A work across the power and renewables sector.
The position involves representing sponsors, developers, investors and financial institutions on project financings and development transactions, and requires experience negotiating project agreements (for example, PPAs, EPC and O&M agreements). The team hires across several U.S. offices; candidates should apply to their preferred office.
- 3+ years of relevant law firm experience in energy, project finance or related transactional work
- Experience with U.S. project finance and tax equity transactions and renewable energy development
- Familiarity negotiating material project contracts (PPA, EPC, O&M, etc.)
- Strong analytical, drafting and client-facing skills; proven ability to manage complex transactions and work collaboratively on teams
- Admission to practice in the local jurisdiction (Washington, D.C.)
