Well-regarded international law firm is seeking a mid-level Environment & Planning Associate to join its Melbourne team. The role focuses primarily on environmental matters across both public and private sectors, including advisory, transactional and contentious work.

You will work on climate change and carbon matters, major project approvals and environmental licensing and compliance, VCAT and other tribunal proceedings, contaminated land, waste management, water law, risk management and incident response. The team offers structured, internationally integrated career development and strong partner support.

Minimum 2 years PQE in an Environment & Planning practice
Experience across environmental advisory, compliance, and/or litigation (tribunal or court proceedings)

Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities; strong academic record
