Apply in confidence →Mid-level associate role in the executive compensation group of a nationwide law firm’s Century City office. The position focuses on advising companies and deal teams on executive and employee compensation matters across corporate transactions and securities work.
Responsibilities include drafting and analyzing equity and non-equity incentive arrangements, deferred compensation and severance/change-in-control provisions, preparing compensation-related sections of securities filings, and identifying and resolving compensation and benefits issues arising in M&A, private equity and other corporate matters.
The team values strong writing, analytical ability and interpersonal skills; candidates will work collaboratively but must also manage significant individual responsibilities.
- 3–6 years of post-qualification experience with a focus on executive compensation and benefits
- Experience drafting and analyzing equity- and cash-based incentive plans, deferred compensation, employment and severance/change-in-control arrangements
- Familiarity preparing compensation-related disclosures for securities filings and supporting M&A/private equity transactions
- Excellent academic credentials, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
