Nationally recognized law firm seeks a 2–4 year associate to join its Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits practice in Austin. The role focuses on executive compensation matters (including equity plans, executive agreements and compensatory partnership interests), ESOP transactions and employee benefits work across diverse industry clients.

The team is collegial and nationally oriented; this position is office-based in Austin with an expectation of a minimum of four days per week on site. Texas bar admission is preferred and must be obtained within one year of hire if not already held.

  • 2–4 years of relevant law firm experience in executive compensation, employee benefits and/or ESOP matters
  • Strong academic record and excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage client work in a fast-paced practice and collaborate with a national team
  • Texas bar membership preferred; required within one year of start if not already admitted
