The role focuses on designing and implementing equity-based and other executive pay arrangements, and advising on employment, retention and separation matters in both public and private M&A contexts.
The team advises clients across industries and jurisdictions and works closely with corporate and transactional groups to deliver integrated solutions on executive pay, incentives and governance. The position is suited to candidates who are entrepreneurial, collaborative and interested in building a practice in executive compensation.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school and strong academic record
- Demonstrable experience in executive compensation, including equity-based compensation design and implementation
- Experience drafting and negotiating employment, retention, and separation agreements; exposure to public and private M&A
- Admission to (or ability to waive into) the New York or Texas Bar
- Prior experience at a peer law firm; preferred class years 2020–2022 (strongly encouraged to submit resume and law school transcript)
