Top-tier regional US law firm is seeking a 3–5 PQE associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice on the Financial Services team. The role is based in North Carolina with a preference for Charlotte or Raleigh and involves working on sophisticated commercial finance matters across the lending lifecycle.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating documentation, conducting diligence, managing closings and post-closing matters for secured and unsecured credit facilities, and supporting syndicated lending and tax-credit finance transactions where relevant.

The team values strong client service, attention to detail, and clear written and oral communication. Immediate eligibility for admission to the North Carolina bar is required.

3–5 years of finance experience in a law firm or comparable legal environment
Experience documenting, negotiating, closing and conducting diligence for secured and unsecured credit facilities; syndicated lending experience preferred
Experience with tax credit finance (e.g., LIHTC) is a plus
Strong academic record, excellent written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
Licensed or immediately eligible to be licensed to practice law in North Carolina
