Associate — Financial Lines (Insurance) | London

Join a market-leading Professional & Financial Risks team in London handling financial lines claims and coverage disputes for insurers and insureds. The team has grown significantly and works across FI, D&O, crime/fidelity and W&I/M&A matters, often with an international element and high-value, complex disputes.

The role offers day-to-day client contact, involvement in strategic conduct of matters, and opportunities to work with a busy team across offices. You will handle a varied caseload including coverage advice, defence work and coordination of international disputes, with scope to contribute to business development and client initiatives.

• 2–4 years PQE (or equivalent) with experience in financial lines claims and coverage disputes (FI, D&O, W&I/M&A, crime/fidelity).
• Practical litigation experience and comfort managing complex, high-value matters—often with international elements.
• Strong written and oral communication, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Commercial mindset, ability to deliver pragmatic solutions, and commitment to client service and business development.
• Collaborative team player with good initiative and an interest in developing as a specialist insurance disputes practitioner.
