Associate — Financial Restructuring & Insolvency, Miami

Experienced associate role in a global law firm's Financial Restructuring & Insolvency team based in Miami. The team advises creditors, debtors and other stakeholders on complex Chapter 11, out‑of‑court restructurings and cross‑border insolvency matters.

Typical work includes drafting pleadings and disclosure statements, researching and analyzing issues under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, negotiating DIP financings and stay/cash collateral matters, managing claims processes, and coordinating Chapter 15 and cross‑border workstreams with foreign counsel.

This is a hands‑on role for a collaborative, detail‑oriented lawyer who wants to deepen technical restructuring experience on sophisticated, high‑profile matters and to work closely with financial advisors and senior team members.

• 2–4 years’ post‑qualification experience in U.S. restructuring, bankruptcy or related litigation
• Strong academic credentials and solid grounding in commercial law and the U.S. Bankruptcy Code
• Experience drafting pleadings, disclosure statements, and restructuring documentation (e.g. RSA, forbearance/DIP agreements)
• Excellent research, writing, project management and client‑facing communication skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams
