Apply in confidence →Join a nationally recognised financial restructuring and insolvency team in Sydney advising creditors, debtors and insolvency practitioners on complex restructurings, formal insolvencies and cross‑border matters across the Asia‑Pacific region. The role combines transactional and advisory work with exposure to out‑of‑court restructurings, formal insolvency processes and related litigation.
You will draft and negotiate restructuring documentation (deeds of company arrangement, sale agreements and ancillary documents), support commercial discussions with stakeholders (private credit funds, alternative lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners) and work closely with senior lawyers across M&A, debt finance and commercial litigation teams.
This is a client‑facing, team‑based role offering significant responsibility on high‑profile and complex matters and strong opportunities for technical development in restructuring and insolvency.
- Admission to practice in Australia
- 2–4 years post‑admission experience in restructuring, insolvency or related corporate/finance work
- Strong drafting, research and commercial judgement; attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, client focus and ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
