Senior associate role within a global financial markets team based in Hong Kong, working on a broad range of complex financing matters for an international client base. The role covers leveraged and acquisition finance, private credit/direct lending, project and real estate finance, and restructurings.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, negotiating and advising on finance documentation, participating in transaction structuring and execution, conducting legal research, and coordinating with other practice groups and offices across jurisdictions.

The role offers client-facing exposure, opportunities to contribute to business development and knowledge management, and responsibility for mentoring junior fee-earners within a collaborative, multi-jurisdictional team.

2–5 years PQE.
Qualified in Hong Kong or another common law jurisdiction.
Experience at a recognised law firm finance practice, with exposure to leveraged/acquisition finance and related products.
Excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills; able to manage complex transactions and tight deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment; English required; Mandarin or Cantonese advantageous.
