Associate — Healthcare & Medical Malpractice (Reno)

Established national law firm is seeking a litigation associate to join its Healthcare & Medical Malpractice practice in Reno, NV. The role focuses on defending healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings.

Typical matters include medical malpractice and professional liability defense across a range of clinical areas. The team handles discovery, motions, depositions and trial preparation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Admission to the Nevada bar (or ability to obtain admission)
• 2–12 years of litigation experience, preferably including medical malpractice and professional liability defense
• Comfort drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings, preparing and arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions
• Strong writing, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters independently and as part of a team
