Senior associate role in a national insurance practice based in the Dallas office. The team handles complex coverage and claims matters for insurance industry clients, including bad faith, casualty, specialty products, professional liability, property, and reinsurance disputes.

The position involves defending suits and handling first- and third-party coverage matters. Preferred duties include taking depositions, attending court conferences, drafting and arguing motions, and preparing coverage opinions and position statements. Strong research and writing skills are essential.

Admission to the Texas Bar required.

Approximately 4 years' post-qualification litigation experience with significant insurance coverage exposure
Experience with defense of claims and first- and third-party coverage matters; reinsurance experience a plus
Proven legal research and strong writing skills
Comfort with taking depositions, attending court conferences, and drafting/arguing motions preferred
