New non-contentious associate role in an established IP and TMT team based in Jeddah. The role focuses on advising clients across IP protection, licensing and technology-related commercial matters within the region.

Typical work includes advising on protection and registration strategy (excluding prosecution), drafting and negotiating IP licences and IP provisions in wider commercial contracts, supporting IP/TMT aspects of M&A and other transactions, and conducting legal research on telecoms, software/cloud, e‑commerce, data protection and cybersecurity issues.

The post-holder will also support larger technology procurement and outsourcing projects, prepare client proposals and pitches, and contribute to training and business development activities.

Bilingual Arabic and English.
3–5 years PQE post‑qualification experience in IP/TMT or technology-related practice.
Strong academic background (2:1 or equivalent) and training/experience from a recognised international or regional top‑tier firm or in‑house legal team.
Experience drafting and negotiating IP licences, commercial agreements and IP provisions; excellent drafting and research skills.
Familiarity with telecoms, software/cloud, e‑commerce, data protection and cybersecurity legal issues; ability to support IP due diligence for corporate transactions.
Confident, proactive approach, good interpersonal skills and an interest in business development and client-facing work; experience coordinating with foreign correspondent counsel advantageous.
