Candidates should have hands‑on experience in patent prosecution in biotechnology or related life‑sciences technologies and either hold USPTO registration or be prepared to obtain it within their first year. An advanced degree in a life‑science field (Ph.D. preferred) and strong written and technical communication skills are required.

1–5 years' patent prosecution experience, preferably in biotechnology/life sciences
USPTO registration (or commitment to sit for and pass the patent bar within 12 months)
Advanced degree in a life‑sciences discipline preferred (Ph.D. highly desirable)
Experience drafting claims, office‑action responses, and collaborating with inventors/technical staff
Strong written communication and ability to manage multiple matters
