Associate — International Trade (Customs), Washington, DC

Well-established international law firm seeks an associate to join its Washington, DC customs team within the international trade practice. The group advises associations and importers across industries, including consumer products, technology, energy, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing.

Ideal candidates are self-starters who can manage matters independently and collaborate on team projects. The role requires strong analytical judgment, proven legal research and writing skills, and prompt admission or eligibility for admission to the District of Columbia Bar.

The position offers a competitive compensation package with bonus eligibility and benefits; a target salary range for Washington, DC was provided for this role.

• Approximately 4 years of law-firm customs experience (imports/customs law)
• Admission to — or eligibility for prompt admission to — the District of Columbia Bar
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
