Leading international law firm seeks an associate to join its Investment Funds team in Berlin. The role combines fund structuring and fund launches with regulatory and transactional work across asset classes such as real estate, infrastructure, renewables, private equity and credit.

You will advise institutional investors and asset managers on cross-border fund investments, supervisory/regulatory matters and asset-management‑related M&A. The position offers regular collaboration with colleagues across jurisdictions and a mix of advisory and transactional mandates.

Qualified German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) or near-qualification with excellent exam results
Interest or prior experience in investment funds / investment management (fund formation, regulatory advice, or fund-related transactions)
Comfort with both transactional and regulatory/ supervisory topics
Fluent business English; ability to work with international teams
Proactive, client-focused team player with strong drafting and communication skills
