Associate — Investment Funds (Corporate) — Sydney

Leading global law firm is hiring an Associate for its Investment Funds team in Sydney. The team advises private capital sponsors and institutional investors on fund formation, secondary transactions and co-investments across multiple jurisdictions.

The role is for candidates with 3–6 years’ fund formation experience who will work on complex fund structures, side‑letter negotiations, wind‑ups, and secondary matters. You will collaborate with domestic and international colleagues on cross‑border private capital mandates.

Successful candidates will join a collegial practice focused on high‑value private capital work and will be expected to contribute commercially and support client relationships while participating in a team‑oriented environment.

• 3–6 years post‑qualification experience in fund formation and related private capital work
• Experience advising private fund sponsors and institutional investors on structuring, side letters, wind‑ups, secondaries and co‑investments
• Comfortable working on cross‑border or multi‑jurisdictional matters
• Strong academic record, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, client‑focused approach
