Associate, IP / IT & Data Protection — Berlin

We are seeking an associate to join a busy IP, IT and data-protection team in Berlin. The role covers advisory and project work for national and international clients across IT law, data protection, digitalisation and commercial IP matters.

You will draft, review and negotiate contracts, support complex IT and technology projects (including AI-related issues), advise on e‑commerce and online distribution models, and assist with cross-border IP protection and enforcement, including contentious proceedings. The role offers early client contact and responsibility within interdisciplinary teams.

• Fully qualified lawyer with strong exam results
• Entry-level or some prior experience in IP, IT or data protection
• Excellent written and spoken English, ideally with legal drafting experience in English
• Analytical thinker with initiative, a structured work style and strong communication skills; comfortable working in teams and with clients
