Leading international law firm is hiring an Associate to join its ESG / sustainability compliance team. The role is open to work from the firm's Düsseldorf or Berlin office and sits in a cross‑border, regulatory practice advising on EU sustainability rules and compliance frameworks.

Day‑to‑day work includes advising clients on regulatory sustainability issues, supporting corporate sustainability transformations, and providing ESG compliance guidance with a focus on EU law. The team works on complex, precedent‑setting matters in an international environment.

The role offers exposure to high‑profile projects, strong training and development, and flexible/mobiles working arrangements within a collaborative team.

German law degree with strong academic record
Excellent written and spoken English
Interest and/or experience in ESG, sustainability transformation and EU regulatory matters
Commercial mindset, pragmatic problem solving and legal creativity
