Associate — Land Use & Environmental, Los Angeles

Growing West Coast land use and environmental team seeks an associate or counsel to join its California practice. The role focuses on CEQA-related and other environmental litigation, land use entitlements, and regulatory counseling under state and federal environmental laws.

Preferred office locations are in the Los Angeles area (including Century City) or Newport Beach. The position will be filled only in California and requires regular in‑office presence.

• Minimum of 3 years' litigation experience, including writ-based CEQA or California housing law litigation, or traditional environmental litigation
• Experience with land use entitlements and CEQA analyses; regulatory counseling under state/federal environmental laws preferred
• Strong research and writing skills and a strong academic record
• Admission to the California bar
• Ability to work a minimum of three days per week in the office
