National law firm seeking an associate to join a busy Community Development Finance / Tax practice focused on low‑income housing tax credit (LIHTC) transactions. The role involves advising developers, owners, and investors on tax credit financing structures and related incentives across multifamily and affordable housing matters.

Successful candidates will join a large, transaction‑focused team and work on the full deal lifecycle — from structuring and documentation through closing and post‑closing compliance. The group handles complex, high‑volume financings and combines tax, finance and real estate expertise.

  • JD and admission to the DC bar (or willingness to become admitted)
  • Demonstrated experience with LIHTC transactions and tax credit financing
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced practice and collaborate across tax, finance and real estate teams
