Join a large, full‑service international law firm with multiple German offices and a strong track record advising Japanese and other Asian clients on cross‑border matters. The role sits in the Japan team within the firm’s M&A, corporate and data/regulatory groups.

The successful candidate will advise Asian investors and German companies on M&A transactions and corporate law matters, and will have opportunities to work on international mandates and network secondments across the firm’s global offices.

Fully qualified lawyer with strong exam results
Relevant experience in M&A and/or corporate law; experience in data protection/regulatory matters is advantageous
Fluent English; international experience preferred
Knowledge of Japan or Japanese language skills helpful but not required
Additional qualifications (LL.M., doctorate) welcome; strong team orientation and commercial mindset
