Associate — M&A & Private Equity, Los Angeles

A Los Angeles office is seeking associates to join a busy M&A and private equity team. The role involves advising corporate clients and private equity sponsors on acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments and related corporate matters.

Ideal candidates will manage transactions end-to-end, draft and negotiate deal documents, and work directly with clients. The position offers substantial responsibility, frequent client contact and an opportunity for a business-development oriented associate to build relationships and run matters with autonomy.

• Law school class years 2021 and later (admitted or near-admission preferred).
• Significant experience on M&A and private equity transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
• Strong understanding of corporate law and market deal terms.
• Proven deal management skills and ability to work independently on matters with direct client interaction.
• Commercial mindset with interest in business development and client relationship work.
