Associate — Marine Insurance (London)

Senior associate role within a busy London marine insurance team handling complex international claims. The team advises insurers, P&I clubs, owners, charterers and other market participants on coverage, defence, recovery and related shipping disputes.

The role involves leading on marine insurance litigation and wet/dry shipping matters, drafting and advising on policy wording, and contributing to business development and client relationship management. The position is office-based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.

• Proven marine insurance/maritime litigation experience at a recognised shipping or insurance practice.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, including insurance policy drafting.
• Familiarity with English court procedures and arbitration (LMAA experience desirable).
• Ability to manage complex multi-jurisdictional matters and engage in BD/networking activities.
