Well-established international law firm team is seeking a non-contentious construction associate to join its Edinburgh office. The role focuses on advising on construction aspects of real estate development projects for national and international clients across the built environment.

The position offers exposure to high-value, complex transactional work, collaboration with wider national and international teams, and opportunities to support junior lawyers and trainees. Flexible working arrangements and professional development support are available.

Qualified solicitor with approximately 2 years' post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.
Strong technical experience on a broad range of construction and engineering projects; familiarity with the JCT suites; NEC experience desirable.
Experience advising on construction elements of real estate development and, preferably, real estate finance transactions.
Excellent communication and client-handling skills; able to run own matters and mentor junior team members.
Commercial mindset, strong organisation, and a collaborative "one team" attitude.
