Top-tier Silicon Valley office seeks a junior associate to join a well-established privacy and cybersecurity practice supporting technology and life sciences clients. The role focuses on counseling companies on privacy compliance and cybersecurity matters across transactional work and commercial contracts.

Work will include privacy due diligence and risk allocation in mergers and acquisitions and other technology transactions, drafting and negotiating data processing and privacy-related provisions, and advising on regulatory compliance, governance, and incident response. Hybrid office model.

2–4 years' post-qualification experience in privacy, cybersecurity, or related technology transactions
Practical experience with privacy laws and frameworks (federal and state U.S. privacy laws, CCPA, GDPR) and drafting/negotiating data processing agreements
Transactional experience — M&A, licensing, financings or other commercial/technology agreements
Strong academic record, excellent written and oral skills, and solid references
California bar membership or eligibility to sit for the next California exam
