Associate — Private Clients / Estate Planning, Hamburg

Leading German practice seeks an associate to join its Private Clients / Estate Planning team in Hamburg. The role focuses on advising private individuals and families on estate planning, succession, trusts and related patrimonial matters.

The team advises on cross-border and domestic estate planning structures and works closely with tax and corporate colleagues. The role offers exposure to client advisory work, drafting testamentary and trust documents, and participating in succession restructurings.

• Qualified lawyer in Germany (Rechtsanwalt) or equivalent; strong academic record.
• Experience in estate planning, trusts & estates or private client advisory work.
• Good knowledge of German substantive law and experience with cross-border estate matters preferred.
• Client-facing skills, drafting experience and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
